10:15 AM – Arrival at Sigulda & hiking orientation at Gauja valley trailhead
10:30 AM – Scenic 11 km wilderness hike (sandstone cliffs, ravines & caves)
01:30 PM – Relaxing picnic lunch break with panoramic river views
02:45 PM – Sigulda medieval castle grounds exploration & lookout tower
03:45 PM – Departure from Sigulda back towards Riga

On the trail, we will explore the impressive Ģūģu cliffs and the mystical Gūtmaņala cave, accompanied by sweeping viewpoints high above the winding Gauja riverbed. We cover approximately 10 to 12 kilometers at a steady, comfortable pace suitable for most fitness levels, with ample time for landscape photography and forest relaxation. Afterwards, enjoy a short stop in Sigulda town to grab hot coffee or traditional local treats before heading home.
